Community Manager

We are looking for a Community Manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional that has experience in social media, PR, and promotional events, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to open and sustain engaging conversations. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of our Discord server: structure channels and set & uphold community rules
• Play a key role in shaping the culture of our Discord and moderate its daily discussions
• Develop and execute community engagement and retention programs
• Set and implement social media and communication campaigns that align with marketing strategies
• Create engaging content and campaigns for social media accounts (Discord, Twitter & LinkedIn)
• Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner on Discord, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Monitor and report on community members feedback and online reviews
• Organize and participate in branded events to foster a sense of community and boost brand awareness
• Coordinate with Marketing, DevX, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
• Liaise with Engineering and Product departments to stay updated on new products and features
• Build relationships with current and prospective customers, industry professionals, and journalists
• Stay up-to-date with web3 technology trends
• Work closely with our Marketing Manager and COO

Responsibilities 🛠️

• Proven work experience as a community manager
• Experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events)
• Experience in managing a Discord Server
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Hands on experience with social media management for brands
• Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Basic understanding of web3 technology (e.g., constituents, tools, networks, mechanics, memes, etc)
• Previous experience managing a Web3 community
• Previous experience in a tech startup
• Bonus points if you are an active DeFi user!
