We’re looking for a kick-ass marketing generalist that can help us take things to the next level to take on Rakuten and Honey. You’ll be part of our senior management team with a direct impact on the future of the company working directly with the C-suite as we take over the world. You should know your way around Twitter, Facebook, Telegram and the likes with plenty of experience building communities and executing on large ad budgets to increase engagement, downloads and usage of our app.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to develop and manage our StormX brand and message across multiple stakeholders and communities. In addition to strengthening our brand and implementing content strategies, this individual will also oversee customer acquisition and retention efforts for our StormX mobile app and Chrome button.

What you’ll do:

• Create a marketing function within StormX as a solo contributor - eventually leading efforts to scale a marketing team.
• Manage an outside PR agency and their contribution to our marketing efforts.
• Develop budgets and annual plans for the StormX marketing function.
• Lead content strategy and delivery to connect effectively with our STMX token community.
• Learn and lead within the unique attributes of the cryptocurrency community.
• Deliver quality content in appropriate channels that speaks to the targeted audience. Current social channels include a blog, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and Telegram.
• Develop StormX personas and voices to most effectively reach our communities.
• Manage global community and content contributors to a consistent standard that reflects well on StormX.
• Plan and execute on a content calendar.
• Lead the planning, measurement and metrics to achieve user acquisition and retention goals for our StormX apps.
• Lead brand building efforts including website redesign, brand assets, a style guide, and other visuals. Web design skills are a plus.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as a marketing manager. Consumer crypto and global experiences preferred.
• Fluency with mobile & chrome button user acquisition & retention, social media management, community management, PR, branding and content strategy.
• A candidate that brings high standards for visual design and content. In addition to planning and direction-setting, you are contributing to hands-on marketing work.
• Capable of building processes that measure and scale StormX marketing efforts.
• Direct experience performing paid mobile user acquisition and retention.
• Exceptional team player. You enjoy collaborating with and learning from your teammates.
• Self-motivated. You drive to deliver.
• Continuous learning. You believe in constantly acquiring new skills and knowledge.
