About the STEMinists NFT Project:

The STEMinists NFT Project is a collection of 10k STEM feminists that celebrate and champion women in STEM. The minting will create an investment fund to launch women, non-binary and BIPOC led startups. Our community of NFT collectors are united in their ambition to see women led projects equally funded, promoted and launched.

We are on a mission to:

1. Build an investment fund to fund women, non-binary and BIPOC led startups.
2. Share revenue with our NFT holders.
3. Set women up to equally build the web3 space. With the space being so new, we want to see women get in on the ground floor from day 1 and not have to play catch up and carve out spaces after the fact. Let’s leave that nonsense in web2. And the key to making that happen - funding and opportunities.

About the role:

We are looking for a tech-savvy, highly motivated, ambitious individual with experience in social media, promotional campaigns and community engagement. You’ll be engaging directly with the community on a day-to-day basis and implementing a growth-focused strategy. You’ll need existing demonstrable knowledge of growing and managing a community and leading from the front.

You will be joining the team at a pivotal stage in our development. You need to be up for a challenge, a fast learner and an outcome focused team player.

As our social media & community manager, you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with us to build and execute a strategy to grow our community to 10,000+ active community members
• Be our voice on social media as you post on Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Reddit, LinkedIn and contribute to the email newsletter
• Creating and curating content to drive engagement across Twitter and Discord channels
• Practicing social listening and leveraging insights from our community to design new campaigns and business proposals
• Engaging in other important NFT communities. Monitoring hashtags and joining in community conversations
• Monitoring, reporting and optimizing performance across Twitter and Discord alongside our business analyst

About you:

• You have a track record building or growing an engaged community (ideally within a crypto or NFT domain)
• You have experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
• You have experience setting up a Discord server
• You know how to identify and track relevant community metrics
• You have worked with Adobe creative suite and/or Canva or similar software to create visually engaging content
• You lead with a level head and manage damage control in high-pressure situations
• You apply clever and creative ways to spark conversation and generate engagement
• You have fluent written and spoken English

Bonus points if you:

• Are a memeologist; one of the earliest to spot or adapt a new meme among your friends
• Have experience in a STEM field
• Have a positive and upbeat demeanour with a can do attitude
• Know how to draw a crowd, grab attention and spread the word
