NFT Digital Lead (& Content Marketing Manager)

A day at work is like…

Switching on your laptop in the morning, remotely checking in with your team online, and you’ll start your usual day managing your team’s day-to-day work, keeping things on track and ensuring everything is running smoothly. You’ll be leading a fast-paced marketing team, optimizing creativity, productivity and always pushing the limits to deliver results. Your main job is to keep the team motivated, ensure deadlines are met, and communication flowing smoothly between key stakeholders and the marketing team.

On other days, you’ll find yourself part of the core team to define and execute Soulshift’s marketing strategy — crafting creative and engaging campaigns for exclusive product launches, community engagement and retention campaigns, analyse data to develop insights on campaign performance, and make informed decisions on areas of optimisation. You’ll be the master storyteller to attract and inspire new audiences across owned channels, manage influencer narratives and set clear measures of success aligned to Soulshift’s core objectives.

You can contribute to and add-value to the company’s success through…

• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing and campaign strategies for all social media channels.
• Develop and implement user acquisition strategy to achieve fan growth across all channels with a focus on driving engagement and retention on core discord server
• Responsible for leading the team in managing overall content calendar across social media and communities
• Oversee execution and alignment of the PR and communication strategy across owned, earned and paid media
• Tracking of the wider NFT market scene and monitoring competitor activities and their marketing initiatives
• Develop strong and effective partnerships with influencers, KOLs, NFT artists and the crypto community to increase awareness within the tech space as well as the mainstream lifestyle audience
• Analyze online data while identifying opportunities to optimize performance and report insights to the wider team and key stakeholders
• Drive the evolving narrative of Soulshift through creative brand awareness campaigns, expanding the reach of Soulshift’s online presence
• Planning and managing digital marketing overall budget
• Be the go-to-person for the team and the bridge between key stakeholders (executive team) and remote team

I will be working with…

• You’ll be leading the Community Manager, Senior Digital Designer, Moderators, Social Media Specialist and collaborate with content creators and copywriters to deliver holistic campaigns across all channels.

Am I the right candidate?

• 7-8 years experience in a leadership role in digital marketing, growth marketing, and content / storytelling, preferably within the blockchain, gaming and/or related tech industries
• A degree in communication, journalism, marketing or related field
• Experience in full funnel marketing campaign strategy, management and budget planning, managing a team of social media specialist, digital designer and community managers, influencers and performance marketing agencies/vendors
• Experience in leading a team of moderators to develop and execute campaigns that acquire and nurture new fans through engagement and retention tactics in (but not limited to) Discord and Telegram channels
• Experience in conducting A/B testing and multivariate experiments
• Experience planning and leading community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series)
• Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques.
• Good understanding of social media KPIs, best practices and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented, excellent follow through, ability to multitask, manage projects and workflow
• Strong project management and time management skills with previous experience in using online project management tools to lead the remote team (e.g. Slack, Asana, Hootsuite, Social Bakers, etc).
• Excellent verbal communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal and presentations skills.
• Motivated, self-starter, independent problem-solver & resourceful

Bonus points goes to:

• Previous experience in the crypto (particularly NFT) industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven success with building and managing a Discord community
• Some exposure to art and/or collectibles
• An NFT collector and/or creator yourself
