SmartDeFi is introducing a new value layer: DeFi Risk Assessment. We are hiring a team of content creators to help us make that happen.

What is DeFi?

DeFi (Decentralized Finance) is a democratized alternative to the current system CeFi (Centralized Financial), where individuals can take control of their finances without the cost and risks of relying on intermediaries.

What is SmartDeFi?

SmartDeFi is an easy to use, non-custodial investment app which fulfills the needs of traditional investors who want to make their first DeFi investments, but don’t understand the risks involved or how to take the first steps.

Job Description:

SmartDeFi has recently closed Pre-seed funding and will be launching an MVP iOS app in April 2021.

Our initial go to market strategy is based around content marketing, with a focus on Beginner DeFi Educational Content. Our goal is to quickly build a rockstar content team, consisting of 4-5 content writers and 1 content manager, to help us become the authority on DeFi Risk Assessment and DeFi Education.

We are seeking to hire 4-5 writers who have recently published content in the following categories:

1. Beginner Blockchain/Crypto/DeFi Content
2. Beginner Educational Guides & Learning Courses
3. Beginner Technical Educational Content (Ethereum, Self Custody/Multisigs, Protocols, etc.)
4. Long Form Evergreen Content / Partner Case Studies
5. Risk Assessment / Traditional Investment Strategy Content
6. Other: Infographics, Market Research, OpEd, Explainer Videos, etc.

Requirements:

• Has recently published Blockchain/DeFi/Crypto/FinTech specific content
• Self starter, Self manager, Deadline focused
• Passionate about educating people and helping them understand DeFi/Blockchain
• Strong writing skills with a firm grasp on how to communicate new concepts to beginners
• Good communication skills, readily available via modern chat programs Monday - Friday
• Positive attitude and works well with others in a high paced remote environment

Ideal Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience creating digital content / copywriting
• 3+ years experience in blockchain / crypto space
• Currently or recently involved in a DeFi project or publication
• Currently or recently involved in a Fintech project or publication
• Previous Web2 marketing experience, growth mindset
• Understanding of SEO, specifically long tail phrase and keyword placement
• Understanding of PPC retargeting and paid channel content marketing
• Basic graphic design skills, infographics, charts, etc.
