Public Relations Account Manager, Crypto

Rubenstein Public Relations is looking for an Account Director in its Corporate practice who will lead a diverse portfolio of clients in the Crypto space. This person will join our team of skilled Public Relations practitioners who pride themselves on helping clients build brand exposure through strategic media relations and message development. We are looking for a leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, exceptional media relations experience, superior writing skills and a passion for helping companies develop communications marketing strategies.

Responsibilites

• Manage several accounts with a positive and proactive attitude
• Develop out-of-the-box media strategies and campaigns
• Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline and budget adherence
• Play major role in creation of communications plans and goals; manage against them
• Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
• Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
• Demonstrate tactical proficiency in media relations, including creating and driving both traditional and social media outreach plans
• Develop creative story angles and consistently secure coverage in print, broadcast and online media outlets
• Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations
• Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience at a NY PR agency
• B.S/B.A in public relations, marketing, business communications or related field
• Strong media contacts and excellent writing skills
• Proven ability to create media plans from concept and follow through to placement
• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Creative and energetic personality
