Who are Risk Labs, Across, and UMA?

Risk Labs is the foundation and core team behind the UMA and Across projects. UMA and Across are decentralized protocols governed by community members across the globe in DAOs, and are supported by Risk Labs Foundation. Across is a crosschain bridge for L2s and rollups secured by UMA’s OO.

As Senior Content Manager, you’ll work closely with our marketing team to bring Across & UMA’s content strategy to life. As a sharp storyteller, you’ll turn everything from white papers to blog posts into clear, compelling narratives while driving projects from ideation to publication. You’ll work to bring structure and strategy to launches, aligning internal and external stakeholders and processes through strong organization and execution.

What You’ll be doing:

• Create and deliver clear, consistent, and compelling content across our various channels while optimizing our content strategy.
• Drive and manage the content pipeline from ideation through launch, using rigorous project management discipline that sets firm deadlines, enforces clear accountability, and keeps both internal and external teams in sync.
• Help to enforce strong content standards, key messaging and other writing best practices.
• Manage and organize our marketing content calendars, driving quality and timely execution.
• Create, track and define content KPIs with the team to refine the execution of our content strategy and drive data-driven success.
• Work with the team to obtain an in-depth understanding of our products and customers to enable you to write content that engages, informs, and converts.
• Collaborate with and guide copywriters to help execute your content strategy.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate content workflows, ideation, and research, while elevating outputs through editing and strategic execution.
• Ensure discoverability and performance by implementing SEO & GEO / LLM Optimization best practices across all content including paid campaigns to amplify key initiatives.
• Collaborate deeply, especially with PMMs, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align with strategy and product direction.
• Drive product storytelling, synthesizing complex ideas and features into narratives that resonate with users and inspire action.

• A storyteller with technical range: you can write authoritatively about DeFi and break down complex ideas clearly.
• A content operator: you bring structure and clarity to chaos, and can run a disciplined editorial process.
• LLM Obsessed: you are on top of AI innovation, and love implementing new AI tools to hack content strategy and creation.
• A collaborator: you work well with stakeholders across product, marketing, and engineering.
• A leader: you raise the bar for others and aren’t afraid to give direct, constructive feedback.
• A strong communicator: you can support a fluid information flow between engineers, PMMs, and content team members.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience and a demonstrated track record of success in content strategy, project management and copywriting
• Excellent editorial judgment and a thorough grasp of how to edit across a variety of topics: Voice & tone guidelines, brand guidelines, and audiences
• Have a writer’s mindset, eye for detail, and ability to provide objective feedback
• Manage multiple work streams, from concept to completion, by anticipating challenges, setting up success measures, and reporting
• Being an avid cryptocurrency enthusiast is a must! It’s okay if you haven’t worked in crypto before, but knowledge about the field is essential
• You are extremely organized, detail-oriented, and catch all typos or grammatical errors
• Fluent in SEO and performance marketing. You understand how to optimize for search, track organic traffic impact, and execute paid media to create content that performs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay packages include competitive salaries & meaningful token options
• Salaries for this role range from $90k-$120k (USD), and your token allocation can grow with your voting rewards while you participate in the growing ecosystem
• Will pay in stablecoins or fiat
