Content Marketer

The Request Foundation’s mission is to re-invent how we experience payments and rebuild trust in the financial industry. We inspire developers and authorities to use the Request Network protocol and build an ecosystem of financial applications together.

Through our suite of financial apps dedicated to crypto-first companies, we’re building a network that connects businesses around the world, giving them ways to make business at the speed of the internet.

Our first product, Request Invoicing, allows any business to bill and receive payments in both traditional currencies and digital ones such as USDC, DAI and USDT.

Our global and fully remote team is constantly working together to empower DeFi (decentralised finance) and crypto-first businesses around the world.

The Role

We are looking for a data-driven Content Marketer with proven experience in creating highly engaging content for a blockchain/crypto company in the B2B SaaS market.

You will lead the development of our new blog, attracting DeFi enthusiasts and covering topics in accounting, payroll, finance and the future of payments with blockchain technology.

While this role requires strategic thinking, it’s your love for writing, editing, blogging and storytelling that energize you most during work. You will have a full overview of our user journey and know-how to cater to the needs of existing and new users at every stage of the sales funnel, with content.

Your Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, SEO-friendly content based on DeFi topics to be defined together with the team for building the new blog
• Proof read and support the development of product enhancement launches, community updates or company updates. These include press releases, blog posts, newsletters, success stories, website updates and more
• Conduct research and gather credible information to support your content piece
• Deliver content and insights that establish trust and deliver value to our audience, in an understandable way
• Embody the Request voice in all you do, and improve upon it
• Share content through various channels such as social media, ensuring strong digital presence of our brand
• Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
• Work closely with the Growth Marketer, Co-founder and Head of Product in strategizing and executing our content strategy and calendar
• Work with a graphic designer (externally) and freelance content writers to develop content
• Be familiar with Google Analytics, Search Console, Wordpress, HubSpot and other SEO related tools to help monitor the performance of our content marketing activities

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a marketing and communications role
• Knowledge in crypto, blockchain, and DeFi industry
• Excellent written, copywriting and oral communication skills
• Fluent English Speaker with preferred proficiency in multiple languages
• Need to provide examples of articles written, preferably around blockchain, FinTech, and/or Accounting
• Experience working in Journalism and/or with a PR/Media agency is a plus
