Head of Marketing/CMO for DeFi/NFT project

Reality Cards is transforming real-world events into collectable NFTs. We are using prediction market mechanics to determine the owners. Thus placing us at the interaction of DeFi and NFT — two sectors that have recently exploded in popularity.

We have a testnet ready to try, an invitation-only beta (ping us for access), and we are only weeks away from the public launch.

You will be our first marketing hire, working closely alongside our community and product managers, to devise a growth-oriented marketing plan. You will have considerable autonomy to develop and implement a marketing plan as you see fit.

A large part of this role relates to selecting events to be run on our prediction market. It will be your job to choose events that are most likely to appeal to a wide variety of users (in particular users of other DeFi projects) and where necessary, to source art from NFT artists for each event.

The role does not involve managing social media accounts or our community forums, as we have an existing community manager.

Requirements

• A very high degree of familiarity with the ethereum ecosystem and other projects within the space, in particular the NFT space
• Extremely proactive: an ability to take the initiative and create and implement a plan without instruction or guidance
• Professional DeFi growth marketing experience (preferable, not essential)
• Nice to have: familiarity with the NFT art scene and connections with artists
• Enjoys the game ‘Among Us’, (the entire team play together every Friday) :)

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan for both our product and upcoming TGE
• Selecting events to be run on our platform, and where relevant, liaising with NFT artists
• Regular and ongoing engagement with communities of other projects for event ideation
• Keeping on top of the wider prediction market scene
• Tracking the marketing campaigns of other DeFi projects
• Investigating and exploring partnership opportunities
• Working with influencers to expand audience and widen our reach
• Managing a six figure marketing budget

Compensation

$75k - $150k depending on experience, payable in USDC.
