Technical Copywriter

What are we all about?

We are a team of world class builders and researchers with expertise across several domains: Ethereum Protocol Engineering, Layer-2, Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Miner Extractable Value (MEV), Smart Contract Development, Security Auditing and Formal Verification.

Working to solve some of the most challenging problems in the blockchain space, we frequently collaborate with renowned companies, such as Ethereum Foundation, StarkWare, Flashbots, xDai, Open Zeppelin, Forta Protocol, Energy Web, POA Network and many more.

We actively contribute to Ethereum core development, EIP’s and network upgrades together with the Ethereum Foundation, and other client teams.

About the role

We are looking for that elusive balance of strong technical writing coupled with the ability to create content that influences, educates and sometimes entertains. The person in this role will work with the Communications Manager to execute our inbound marketing strategy and to raise awareness about our work through social channels, blogs, articles and website. You will also work closely with the Product Teams to produce product descriptions and presentations decks. We are looking for a subject matter expert who can engage with the community in a deliberate way and with a strong awareness of how the Nethermind brand is represented.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Technical Copywriter, ideally in the open-source and B2D space
• Excellent written skills in English is a must.
• A good understanding of Ethereum, clients, staking, roll ups, DeFi, security and much more. You will need to be able to initiate and engage in conversations with the community regarding trending topics and debates in blockchain and Ethereum.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable across all of our audiences.
• Able to handle short-form copywriting and long form content.
• Experience writing blog posts, tutorials, guides.
• Skilled in SEO (to capture existing demand with a focus on search)
• Be able to write company and product description and presentation decks.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills.
