Social Media Manager

The business is building a breakthrough technology – blockchain that is mobile native, making it the world’s most decentralised blockchain protocol. They have had huge investment enabling the business to grow its tech development, business development and marketing teams.

We have been working with this business for the last 6 months and we’ve watched them grow at pace, and their marketing team is growing again. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to start asap.

Role:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who has a passion for blockchain technology. You will source, create and publish social media content that resonates with the company’s different target audiences of developers, early adopters, potential Telco partners & investors.

The Social Media Manager will raise brand awareness and communicate the company’s story. You will help the blockchain world understand what makes the company different, and the Social Media Manager will be instrumental in communicating this to the community.

The Social Media Manager will identify influencers, suggest and implement new features that will enhance growth of their followers, like Q&A sessions and polls. You will create a content calendar for the business, ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology across all social media content and manage day to day social media activity.

As the Social Media Manager you will support the community building team and ensure there is synergy.

The ideal candidate:

• You will have a metrics driven approach, enjoy reporting with the ability to identify and analyse trends and apply the findings.
• You will be an active social media user on platforms that the target audience use. This includes Telegram, Twitter, Discord and Reddit.
• With at least 4+ years’ experience in social media and content management and must have established experience in building and managing social media communities in the crypto/blockchain space.
• Excellent copywriting skills, strong knowledge of SEO, analytics.
• We want a Social Media Manager who is creative, passionate and organised team player.
• The ability to work autonomously, multitask and deliver against deadlines in a start-up environment.
