Marketing & Community Coordinator

We’re looking for a remote Marketing & Community Coordinator to join our team and help launch our web3 DeFi wallet - Minke to thousands of users.

About Minke

We’re building the best way for consumers to save, borrow and invest with DeFi on mobile. If you’ve spent anytime trying to use DeFi, you’ll know the many interfaces are complex and not built for the mobile world where finance lives today. Minke is changing this by providing a familiar and mobile-native app that looks like your fintech, but gives you all the magic of open and and permissionless finance in the background.

We offer interest rates 40x higher than big banks and 2x higher than fintechs. Plus easy products to sustainably diversify your crypto investments, because there should be more in your wallet that BTC, ETH and DOGE!

We’re well funded, having recently closed our pre-seed round from some of Australia’s top angels and are part of the S22 batch of Startmate - Australia’s top startup accelerator.

You’ll join an existing team of 6 spread across Australia, Portugal, Germany and Brazil. We’re experienced web3 builders and have been working in the space since 2017.

The role is remote, so you can live and work wherever you want in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow and foster a community of users and the crypto curious who want to boost their savings and sustainably invest in the space
• Write approachable content on DeFi that’ll convince new entrants to take their savings away from their bank
• Fast, friendly email support in English to guide new users through the app
• Advertising on social media channels to grow our user base
• Social media channel management and posting
• Work closely with the founders to grow the business and implement the vision for Minke

You are:

• A community builder at heart, you’ve grown and fostered an engaged community on the internet
• Not an expert, but somewhere down the rabbit hole with cryptocurrency and web3
• Financially literate and passionate about empowering others to reach their financial goals
• Experienced acquiring users for a software business or mobile app
• A friendly self-starter who can take a project and run with it

Bonus points for:

• Startup experience and or experience working with a remote and distributed team
• Experience in a consumer facing fintech
• Being a meme lord
• Basic HTML/CSS skills
