Jet is an open source, non-custodial liquidity protocol pushing the envelope on decentralized finance and debt capital markets efficiency. We offer first class, market based lending products built for the emerging DeFi high flyers. Our bleeding edge on-chain products connect flight operations among crypto-native traders and soon, with permissioned institutional players. We are a remote but close-knit flight crew consisting of veteran pilots with tens of thousands of long-haul flying hours at blue-chip DeFi, TradFi, and Big Tech firms.

Marketing at Jet Protocol

We are looking for a Community Manager who is excited about DeFi and Web3 technology to join our team. Reporting to the Head Of Marketing they will be responsible for helping the Jet Protocol team in building the best DeFi community there is to run exciting campaigns whilst nurturing and growing our community base across various channels.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitor, moderate and manage community sentiment on Telegram & Discord, which is the “heart” of the Jet Protocol community
• Daily digest for management team of important conversations or topics from the day before that need addressing
• Organize and coordinate live online community events such weekly AMAs & discussions on Twitter spaces, Youtube & Telegram
• Develop processes for onboarding new members to the Jet Protocol community.
• Be willing to constantly learn, research, and experiment with new community building ideas
• Work with the Head of Marketing to ideate and execute promotional strategies involving social media and community channels to drive user acquisition and community engagement
• Measure and report on the success of community growth, support, and engagement initiatives with qualitative and quantitative insights
• Create a community promotor program whilst collecting community feedback and improvement proposals
• Coordinating product launches within the Jet Protocol communities
• Finding growth-hacks to increase market awareness of our products.

About You

• Have direct experience running, building and cultivating a community
• Active in the Crypto communities on Twitter, Discord, Reddit, and Telegram
• A passion for DeFi, crypto, web3.0 and the future of finance
• 2+ years experience in community management with direct experience in launching and managing community initiatives
• Creating dynamic, engaging content such as written content, Memes and more
• An independent, self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• A contributor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An excellent command of written and spoken English
• Be pragmatic, offer your opinions and don’t be afraid to speak up to senior leadership and stakeholders.

You are an exceptional candidate for this role if you have

• You have direct experience of operating and using DeFi products
• A desire to work in a decentralized environment with a high degree of ownership and independence
• Can speak other languages
• Can use photo editing software to a high standard
• Have experience of DAOs and how they operate.
