All team members are encouraged to share knowledge, present learnings when trying new tools, languages, frameworks, and engage in paired programming on a regular basis. About the position:

Innovation Upstream is seeking a talented and motivated community manager who is experienced in cultivating, fostering, and communicating with a large scale decentralized community.

This role’s responsibilities include:

  • Creating, managing, and growing social channels (twitter, discord, telegram, etc)
  • Ensuring community is updated on all new features and announcements
  • Ensuring community questions are publicly answered
  • Providing direct 1-1 support to community members (with the support of a moderation team)
  • Recruiting and managing a moderation team as the community grows
  • Marketing via all available channels and methods
  • Community sentiment aggregation and reporting
  • Feature request aggregation and reporting

The role is currently remote and you can work from anywhere. You will be expected to manage various competing deadlines, and projects. Teamwork, problem-solving, accountability, and good communication skills are necessary.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience managing and growing social channels
  • Experience fostering positivity in a large scale community
  • Experience managing a decentralized global community
  • Experience supporting users'
  • Knowledge of and experience using blockchains, wallets, dApps, DeFi
