Director of Marketing

InfiniteWorld is looking for a Director of Marketing to oversee our Online / Interactive Marketing initiatives. We are innovating at the cross-section of digital marketplaces, media, games, NFTs, and the metaverse. You are a leader in the marketing space, with a background in areas of eCommerce, gaming, entertainment, blockchain, social, or any combination of these. To keep us aligned with our company goals, you will lead the marketing strategy, execution, and monitoring of all activities as they relate to our broader marketing initiatives. In addition to traditional marketing campaign tactics, this role will involve applying gamification knowledge and tactics throughout, within the context of crypto and blockchain initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of results driving end-to-end digital marketing including, but not limited to, social media, community building, Email/SMS, CRM, viral media, online ads, SEO, PR, and events. A strong understanding of social media channels, influencers, and related tactics are key in this role. A successful candidate is highly professional, driven, and ready to become a significant part of our strategic and tactical plans. This is a remote/telecommute position. InfiniteWorld is 100% virtual and allows the applicant to work anywhere in the world!

Responsibilities

• Create high-performing multi-channel marketing campaigns for custom marketplace launches
• Build highly engaged communities leading up to launches and grow throughout lifecycles
• Generate website traffic, purchase conversions, and user engagement, among other key metrics
• Monitor, scrutinize, and improve marketing campaigns as needed
• Use analytics and metrics to help inform key marketing decisions
• Clearly communicate and report on data and campaign results to key stakeholders throughout the organization and its partners
• Increase brand awareness for the company and its properties through cohesive marketing plans
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis
• Use creative PR strategies to build relationships with stakeholders and media
• Lead and mentor marketing team members. Empower others to bring top-performing results
• Oversee and set goals for internal teams, both long and short term
• Budget and allocate funds for the marketing department
• Analyze hiring needs in order to identify opportunities for improvement
• Conceptualize, guide, and support marketing events

Requirements

• Experience in a senior role as Sr. Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, or similar role
• Proven results in the creation and implementation of successful online marketing campaign(s)
• Expertise in online marketing tactics including social media, influencers, communities, online ads, - Email/SMS, viral media, SEO, PR, and events
• Experience in digital media, entertainment, blockchain, gaming (social, casual, platform, play 2 earn), or any combination
• Deep understanding of the “blockchain culture” and / or experience in the crypto world
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
• Great decision-making skills and the ability to make difficult decisions while managing risk and trade-offs
