Content Strategist

Harmony is looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, data driven content strategist. As our content strategist, you will create and oversee the creation of multiple forms of content such as:

• Email marketing: this includes communicating with our subscribers via one-off emails as well as the creation of funnel-based drip marketing campaigns.
• Blog: manage our blog content and create as well as oversee the creation of content that meets the needs of our various audience segments:
  • Developers
  • Other projects in the blockchain space (potential partnerships/integrations)
  • Projects and companies outside of blockchain
  • People new to crypto/blockchain
  • People new to Harmony
  • Current Harmony community members
• Social: Coordinate with our social media manager on promotion of content
• Video: Create and oversee the creation of videos on various topics that meet the needs of our audience segments

Etc.

And in general, be resourceful and multiply our content 5x - that means, for every piece of content, multiply it.

For example: suppose we do an AMA with another project. That AMA should produce the following content pieces:

• AMA Transcript
• Video of AMA
• Audio of AMA
• Infographic of important pieces of the AMA
• Image shareables/snippets of AMA
• Twitter thread of notable pieces of the AMA

Etc…

What We Expect from You / What You Will Do

• Exhibit a high-attention to detail across all marketing functions, with a focus on our audience segments, top-of-the-funnel, middle-of-the-funnel, and bottom-of-the-funnel content pieces and clear call-to-actions.
• Awareness of all areas of the business and helping to create an integrated experience across all audience segments, helping to create endearment and loyalty to the Harmony brand and project
• Coordinate creation of content, optimization of content, and wide distribution of content across all social media channels, organic media, and possibly paid media
• Set key performance indicators for all campaigns, with targets against KPI’s.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a content creator, editor, content optimizer, and content orchestrator across various areas of business across multiple media types, channels, and industries.
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills. At the very least, be able to write short-form, long-form articles using well-formed, grammatically correct English.
• Flexible and adaptable. A team player, but be very intrinsically and self-motivated. High competency in SEO strategy, implementation in various content formats.
• Be data driven, but not a slave to data. Be creative and use data within reason. Above all, address and meet the needs of our various audience segments. * Work with our Community DAO on the creation of and dissemination of various content types; and provide feedback on community-driven content.
• Must be somewhat familiar with blockchain and participate in crypto communities. While not a hard requirement, knowing the context and tone and subtleties of crypto communities really, really, really helps.
• PLUS: have an eye for design and be able to manage the translation of all our content pieces into Mandarin, Korean, and possibly other languages.

The Content Strategist will be an integral part of the marketing team and will play a key role in the growth of Harmony.
