Head of Growth/Communications

GooseFX is a leading Solana protocol encompassing all aspects of DeFi. We offer trading of synthetics, crypto/derivatives, NFTs, and have single sided liquidity pools for yield farming. We are looking for a Director of Growth/Marketing/Comms to lead our marketing efforts full time.

About The Role:

• Create GooseFX’s marketing and growth roadmap including objectives, key results, analytics, and measurement to communicate tasks to the team and deliver results
• Community Engagement and moderation across different channels in Telegram, Discord, Reddit and other groups requested by the Company
• Plan and execute go-to-market strategy for new products, features, enhancements, and new partnerships by forming the positioning, messaging, and value proposition
• Lead research and implementation of ads and sponsorships across social networks, search, podcasts, newsletters, and other channels
• Keep up to date with the trending topics in crypto and the NFT space. Manage content calendar and produce articles, visuals with the help of contractors.
• Curate messages/announcements to community members, address enquiries and escalate support requests to appropriate team members effectively and efficiently
• Collect community feedback and improvements proposals

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 3+ years experience in leading marketing roles (CMO, VP Marketing, etc) at a high-growth tech startup / agency
• Strong expertise in product-led growth
• Master in Marketing / Communications
• Hands-on experience gained in all key areas of marketing, digital marketing, brand messaging, SEO, affiliate, influencer, communication, etc.
• Strong curiosity or understanding of the blockchain landscape (Ethereum, Solana, DeFi, etc.)
• Experience managing external agency partners
• A good sense of the expected impact and prioritization of work to be done in most scenarios
• Deep understanding of social media tools including but not limited to Twitter, Telegram, Discord and Reddit
• Enthusiasm, an exceptional work ethic, a self-starter attitude, and a belief in the mission of GFX
