Minimum qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in B2B Marketing
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams
  • Experience coordinating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to land go-to-market

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience of leadership and leading marketing and product strategies, activities/campaigns to educate and motivate audiences, and achieve clear goals and objectives
  • Experience working with developers, startups, and/or cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of the Web3 community
  • Ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholders and convey business outcomes and narratives using insights and data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion and to execute complex strategic and operational initiatives
  • Excellent project management, problem solving, analytical, and written skills with impeccable business judgment

About the job

Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In this role, you will be responsible for key aspects of go-to-market that establish Google Cloud within the community, companies, and developers. You’ll manage the full funnel for our audience from awareness and consideration (e.g., messaging, positioning, and thought leadership) to building customer demand (i.e., from prospect to purchase, usage, and advocacy).

You will incorporate product and broader Google Cloud narratives to tell a consistent, compelling, and benefits-driven story. You will work closely with the regional demand generation marketing and sales teams on strategy, campaigns, offers, and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Web3 marketing team, strategy, and go-to market to support Google Cloud’s annual plan for Web3 in close partnership with Sales and Developer teams by tracking data-driven objective and key results (OKRs) and metrics to assess success for you and your team.
  • Develop messaging, positioning, thought leadership, and customer references for the different segments of the Web3 audience to drive awareness and consideration of Google Cloud solutions.
  • Build and deploy successful go-to-market strategies and tactics such as campaigns, events, community engagement, and programs to generate pipeline business needs.
  • Collaborate with other global marketing teams (e.g., Campaigns, Field Demand Generation teams, Events, Developer, Product) and regional marketing teams to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across Alphabet teams to drive a rich and cohesive proposition and go-to-market plan.
