Genius Yield is a DeFi asset management solution implemented on the Cardano blockchain, providing superior yield optimization and high returns to users. Genius Yield has developed an AI-powered Smart Liquidity Management protocol that algorithmically automates asset allocation to maximize an user’s APY, while minimizing risk exposure.

To help establish Genius Yield as a premier DeFi platform, we are seeking to fill a position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Your responsibilities

Develop and execute the marketing strategy, including community management and engagement, events, demand generation, digital marketing, content and more. The perfect candidate thrives in both marketing strategy and execution.

Your tasks

• Conceptualize and build Genius Yield’s brand, voice, and identity.
• Develop a global marketing plan.
• Build strategic, mutually-beneficial partnerships with key players in the Cardano ecosystem.
• Optimize a marketing team to develop top-tier content and events.
• Plan and execute in-house events and proactively approach third-party event opportunities.
• Set ambitious growth goals and monitor progress using data and analytics.
• Manage the production of demos, tutorials, and conference presentations that demonstrate the possibilities of Genius Yield and grow its active community.
• Identify market trends.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders and sparring partners.
• Manage relationships with PR firms.
• Prepare sales material.

Your profile

• University degree with 7+ years of proven experience as digital Marketing Manager or a relevant role in a crypto/tech startup/scaleup environment.
• Experience creating and executing creative and effective campaigns.
• Proven success in executing event strategy.
• Experience developing and executing a marketing strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to be entrepreneurial and a self-starter.
• Ability to multitask and understand how to prioritize tasks based on importance vs. immediacy.
• Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple points both from inside and outside the organization.
• High EQ and strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders across various functional disciplines to understand their respective challenges and motivations.
• Comfortable working in time-sensitive and rapidly evolving, complex and sometimes ambiguous situations.
• Mature judgment and discretion in keeping sensitive information confidential.
• Attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sense of humility, with no job being too big or too small to undertake.
