Your Mission

As our fully remote Events Coordinator, travelling across the globe to exciting locations, you will be responsible for actively driving business engagement initiatives at Crypto/Blockchain events, increase networking and exposure opportunities for Gate.io, and plan, organise, and deliver an amazing event experience for all those involved.

This is a high-impact role, where you’ll be at the forefront of bringing Gate.io’s brand, business, and amazing people to the literal front-stage.

You will

• Research the Crypto/Blockchain space in order to scope relevant events for a Tier-1 Crypto Exchange Have a deep understanding of different requirements and details of each event
• Plan and organize events in accordance with financial and time boundaries
• Research and book the appropriate venues
• Plan, schedule and organize time slots and speakers at event
• Meet with clients and coordinate with them regularly
• Look for and compare different vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.)
• Negotiate with vendors for stand-space, and booking our speakers
• Oversee and direct event-staff
• Handle, coordinate and oversee all event operations, logistics, and experience
• Track the overall even expenses regularly
• Carefully supervise event preparation activities
• Drive solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner
• Analyze, evaluate, and report events’ results

You bring

• 3 years of experience as event coordinator or similar role, preferably within the Tech or FinTech industry Academic or Professional background hospitality management, public relations or similar relevant field A portfolio of successful events
• Sense of ownership and pride in your impact on the company’s success brand and sucess Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Great sense of autonomy and responsibility
• Good time-management and organizational skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
