We are a small, nimble and well-funded remote team currently working across San Francisco, Boston and Dallas. We are looking for smart, curious people to join us on this exciting journey. About the Opportunity

We’re looking for our first Marketing hire! You will own content creation and strategy across Esprezzo’s blog, email and social channels with the goal of increasing awareness and adoption for Esprezzo.

About You

You are self motivated, intellectually curious, data-driven, knowledgeable and passionate about crypto and blockchains.

You understand when and how to use different marketing channels and understand it’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. You thrive in fast-paced environments and shift your priorities, tackling email campaigns one day and educational blog posts or social content the next. You are passionate about building brand affinity and understand the nuances of tailoring your message to different audiences.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement a data-driven content strategy to help drive customer acquisition and increase customer retention
• Manage content creation across Esprezzo’s blog, social and email channels
• Create compelling content for experienced crypto traders, crypto newbies, NFT and DeFi enthusiasts
• Engage with Esprezzo communities through owned channels (Discord, Telegram, Twitter, etc.)
• Collaborate with team members (engineers, designers) to develop impactful campaigns for multiple personas at different points in the customer lifecycle
• Help manage the Esprezzo newsletter, blog and website copy
• Report on Marketing and content-related metrics
• Work with partners on co-marketing campaigns

What You Bring to the Team (Requirements):

• 3+ years’ experience in content marketing across various channels (blog, email, social media)
• Demonstrated experience managing and growing an engaged social media community
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience interacting with Discord and Telegram communities
• Empathy — towards customers, potential customers and team members
• Fluent in English — written and spoken
• An understanding of and passion for crypto and blockchain technology
• Familiarity with SEO best practices
• Links to published blog posts
• Self-starter, biased towards action
• Data-driven, experience setting and reporting on SMART goals
• Strong interpersonal skills (you will be working with team members across different disciplines)

Nice to Haves:

• Proficiency with Hubspot (blog & email campaign management) preferred
• Experience in or knowledgeable about crypto trading and crypto apps
• Experience creating social media & blog post graphics using Canva, Adobe, etc.
• Experience working with remote teams
• SaaS and/or FinTech startup experience
• Video & influencer marketing experience
• Portfolio including email and social campaigns you’ve worked on
