Edgelesschat uses the revolutionary blockchain technology to send messages, images, and other data. It’s conventional, p2p encryption but with extra steps. With three-way video calling, social networking, image and media sharing, and public groups, Edgeless Chat ticks all boxes.

As a Cryptocurrency Specialist, you will work closely with our marketing and social media team on managing user and follower data as well as contributing to the branding of Edgelesschat. You will help the blockchain world understand what makes the company different, and the Social Media Manager will be instrumental in communicating this to the community.

This is a part-time position located in Las Vegas or Remote.

Responsibilities

• Support our online marketing on social media and chat platforms; monitor data about users of Edgelesschat and followers on social media platforms
• Communicate our brand messages to the community; plan, execute, and iterate marketing campaigns with analytical research
• Assist with programmatic and social media advertising; ensure initiatives and messaging are aligned across different social media platforms
• Help diagnose and resolve issues reported by users of Edgelesschat
• Become a trusted partner for the marketing and social media team, available to jump in on any project needed.
• Interview industry professionals and incorporate their views in various mediums
• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content

Required Qualifications

• Has a background in marketing, community management, or other related areas
• Has a genuine interest in cryptocurrencies, understands and can clearly communicate how they work to a variety of audiences
• Passionate about blockchain technology
• Familiar with several social media platforms and communication tools (Slack, LinkedIn, Telegram, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
• Can work autonomously and proactively
• Is a detail-oriented self-starter who can project manage effectively
• Result-oriented
• Has strong time management skills
• Knowledge of how cryptocurrencies work and experience in this area is mandatory
• Experience as a social media manager and experience in blockchain and crypto markets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in analytics and blockchain technology
• Prior experience working in a start-up environment
