ChainSafe Systems is currently seeking a full-time Social Media Coordinator to join our Communications Team. Our company is growing fast, and with both a clear vision and strong values, we are the industry leaders in designing and developing scalable solutions for the decentralized web.

We are global, remote-friendly, and open to contractors (who can commit to a minimum of 35 hours a week). For those local to Toronto, our casual, open-concept office in Chinatown has meeting rooms, lounge areas, and space to pull up a chair.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Social Media & Community Engagement

• Develop and manage social media content calendars
• Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, workshops and info sessions
• Engage with the online blockchain community, and support our business’ reputation including:
  • Relationship building
  • Engaging with partners and potential partners
• Contribute to social media strategies and campaigns using insight from performance metrics combined with up-to-date knowledge on social best practices
• Remain current on trends in social media and crypto and blockchain content marketing

Qualifications

Requirements

• 1+ years of work experience in technical communication, marketing, PR and/or social media
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Passion for managing, building, and growing a social media presence for an organization
• Ability to manage time effectively when faced with competing priorities
• Strong follow-through and organizational skills
• Big Bonus: understanding, curiosity, and interest in Blockchain
