Celestia is seeking a remote full-time VP of Marketing to grow the Celestia brand, community and demand for Celestia’s network among developers, node operators and stakers. This role is an opportunity to build a marketing strategy and team from the ground up around a revolutionary new technology and an exceptional engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Celestia’s marketing team to support your marketing strategies
• Develop and maintain the Celestia brand including mission statement, tagline, communication framework and brand pillars
• Communicate our vision and build excitement for Celestia’s role within the broader crypto ecosystem
• Manage public relations, media relationships, major announcements, newsletters and events for maximum impact
• Build and execute a content calendar to keep the community informed and excited about project developments
• Execute growth marketing campaigns to attract key network participants, e.g. node operators, developers, grant applicants & partners
• Grow and manage a thriving, supportive community for each of our 4 major stakeholders–developers, validators, users and investors
• Develop and execute a content roadmap that educates and generates excitement for the protocol

Minimum requirements

• Confident and familiar with cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem
• Expert in growth marketing, marketing campaigns, viral and social media techniques and strategies
• Extremely creative, strategic and tactical with content, messaging, campaign strategy and storytelling
• Native proficiency in English
