Who is Avarta?

Avarta is a multichain, decentralized ID system that is being used to create a secured, private, and user-controlled authentication layer that puts the full power of the web into users’ hands. We provide a password-less identity solution that allows people to maintain their private keys and blockchain-based logins seamlessly and securely. We provide crypto companies and the blockchain industry established standards of authentication and risk-based scoring data to help build and grow the blockchain ecosystem.

We are looking for a passionate CMO to join our executive team. You will work collaboratively with other senior leaders and lead our superb in-house marketing team. Your duties will include managing all marketing operations, assessing and improving existing initiatives, and devising new strategies to increase revenue and awareness.

About the Role

• “Listen” to the trends of the market and direct the market research and marketing efforts of the company
• Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution, business development and marketing
• Define, develop and implement marketing and business development strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
• Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
• Ensure the effective planning and operation of leadership, press and partner engagement events
• Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
• Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
• Develop and implement engaging short- and long-term content strategies including communication, PR and social media
• Work collaboratively to coordinate the effective and efficient implementation of strategies, communications and initiative
• Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals, leading them to the successful
• Create a solid network of strategic partnerships

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in leading marketing campaigns for blockchain projects with a proven track record of success
• Exceptional copywriting skills with a focus on engaging storytelling
• Able to plan and execute go-to-market strategy for new products, features, enhancements, and new partnerships by forming the positioning, messaging, and value proposition
• Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
• Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
• Evidence of a strong and engaged network cross the crypto, blockchain and NFT space including relationships with community leaders and other high profile figures in the space
• Have a good understanding of the DeFi space and are excited about the future of Blockchain technologies, NFTs and the metaverse
• Able to hit the ground running and wear a variety of hats to ensure what needs to be done is completed effectively and efficiently

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Masters degree in business, marketing, PR, communications or similar
