About

Wager is the first social wagering platform backed by Telegram. We are making betting as intuitive as writing a message in a chat group. As the first of its kind, Wager capitalizes on the familiarity and ease of messaging by allowing users to place bets as naturally as they would chat in a group. By simply adding the Wager bot to any Telegram group or channel, friends can instantly start betting on their favorite sports, turning every game or match into an interactive, social event.

The Role

We are seeking a talented engineering lead to join our team who will drive the development of our social wagering app. You will wear many hats - we want an engineer who’s ready to be pushed, to push us, and to grow exponentially in the process. Responsibilities

• Spearhead architectural decisions, optimizing for scalable system design and robust project execution.
• Provide your input at all stages of the development Lifecycle; Design, coding, testing and production release.
• Push boundaries through rapid prototyping and iterative development, always driving innovation.
• Lead and Mentor - provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, guiding them through the end-to-end project lifecycle to ensure quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in application development and system design.
• Expertise in JavaScript for application design, development and testing.
• Leading small teams whilst being hands-on comes with ease.
• You have a true passion for developing user experiences that are nothing short of astounding.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with blockchain technology, with a bonus for experience with TON (The Open Network) blockchain.
• Experience with smart contract development.
