Senior Solidity Developer

The Role:

We are looking to find an experienced senior smart contract developer (Solidity) to join our team! The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, a good understanding of financial derivatives, and a consistent track record of solving critical engineering problems.

You’ll be working with advanced smart contracts, working on new features for the protocol and creating new technical DeFi primitives. Your code must be auditable, efficient, well-formatted and commented with accompanying documentation. A strong interest and passion for the potential of DeFi is essential, as well as a high degree of focus on security and comprehensive testing.

The Opportunity:

UXD Protocol is an algorithmic stablecoin built natively on Solana. UXD is backed 100% by a delta-neutral position on derivative dexes, which enables us to create a stablecoin that is decentralized, stable and capital efficient. We have just launched mainnet beta in January and there is currently $20M UXD in circulation. We also have raised $57M in the IDO to fund the insurance fund that enables us to withstand a negative funding rate regime.

We are looking for a senior Solidity developer with experience and high code quality standards to match the scope of our vision to create a decentralized, stable and capital efficient algorithmic stablecoin mulitchain for the digital economy. In this role you will build the contracts to support innovative new features that our users will find the most valuable.

Responsibilities:

• Produce high quality, performant, and well-tested code
• Achieve comprehensive unit and integration test coverage
• Write specs and review PRs
• Design and ideation of new functionality

Requirements:

• You enjoy shipping code
• Have a good understanding of derivatives and other financial instruments
• Passionate about the DeFi space
• 2+ years experience in Solidity development
• 3+ years in general software engineering
• Knowledge of L2s, such as Optimistic Rollups and ZKrollups
• Fluent in English
