About UMI

Umi is an ambitious multichain art project that merges the concept of NFTs with Decentralised Finance (DeFi) to NFT DeFi multisensory ecosystem. All members are passionate about art, creating innovation in the NFT scene and building the cryptocurrency ecosystem. We aim to create a DeFi platform where users can stake traditional cryptocurrency assets alongside yield generating NFTs. The initial DeFi app will be built on ETH. Later it will be ported to BSC and then finally Sora (a parachain on the polkadot network).

The role

We are looking for a Front End Developer to glue together our finished GUI and deployed Ethereum based smart contracts (written by other members of our team). You will be responsible for implementation of the final front end web application and must communicated with both UI Designer and smart contract developer to make this a reality.

What you’ll need

• You are proficient with Javascript, Typescript, and the latest frontend framework such as React.js, Vue.js
• Strong CSS and HTML skills
• Experience with web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js)
• Experience optimizing front-end performance
• Have a track record of delivering beautiful web applications
• You can work with high autonomy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience in working within Ethereum / DeFi space
• Must be able to work independently and remote (and have a track record of this experience)

Compensation

• Contract duration: 3 months
• Part time
• $5500 usd per month
• Generous token allocation in $UMI
