Web3 Backend Engineer (Node.js/TS)

Who we are

THORSwap is a multi-chain DEX aggregator built on THORChain’s cross- chain liquidity protocol and the #1 interface for all THORChain services.

We’re looking for talented and self-motivated individuals who are willing to jump right in and use their expertise to help build world-class DeFi products.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and integrate protocols in our API
• Participate in technical specification design, technical roadmap, and implementation
• Collaborate with engineers through code reviews, acceptance testing, bug fixing, and general support
• Deploy, monitor, and break-fix services in production
• Implement tests to ensure performance and accuracy
• Bridge the strategic objectives of the organization with internal engineering practices

Requirements

• Strong understanding of blockchain technologies and DeFi protocols
• Professional experience with Node.js/TS, GRPC/protobuf, REST APIs, ORMs and NoSQL databases
• Experience with crypto libraries like web3.js, ethers.js, etc
• Experience and familiarity with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, event-driven microservices and best practices for a high-volume, low- latency API
• Interest in solving complex problems and seeking optimal solutions
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills
• Typescript lover

Bonus

• Deep knowledge in THORChain protocol
• Experience in multi-chain integrations (L2, UTXO Chain, Cosmos, Polkadot, Terra, Solana, etc)
