About THALI DAO

THALI is a DAO designed with the mission to open up the financial assets and data to the crypto community around the world. The platform will enable users to place directional bets on tradeable price feeds on-chain. It’s a unique derivatives platform that is being developed out of India and for the emerging markets community in crypto.

As it stands, users around the world are limited by their geographies to invest and generate yield according to their local regulations, the so-called walled gardens. The DAO of THALI will bring open financial gardens with unique tradeable data feeds on the Ethereum mainnet and Polygon.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Solidity Development chef! Someone that has contributed to and deployed a dApp on mainnet and has experienced the realities of building and launching a project in the Ethereum ecosystem. Ideally, it would be someone familiar with the DeFi and DAO ecosystems, with a passion for decentralised governance and the potential of DeFi for emerging markets.

We will value significant experience with Typescript and back-end frameworks and the ability to analyse and re-purpose open-source audited smart contracts for the platform. We’re a small team but you’ll be working with highly-motivated tech engineers, designers and former VCs united to make THALI a reality.

What we expect from you

  • Lead the Solidity development tasks and work with the engineering team on developing the THALI dApp
  • Research and optimize secure ways to deploy in L2s and expand beyond ETH mainnet (Polygon)
  • Follow best practices of security, architecture and code auditing.
  • Have a few years of TypeScript and back-end engineering under your belt
  • Have built and deployed smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain
  • Speak fluent English - we all come from different backgrounds and countries but we have to understand each other well
  • Are results-driven and highly committed to what you are doing

Compensation

The candidate will be part of the founding team of the DAO and will receive a % of the token fair launch within a vesting program. Eventually, a salary commensurate to experience will also be installed.
