About Us

Thali is an innovative synthetic trading protocol aimed at bringing a gamified experience to DeFi users on Polygon and Ethereum. The DAO has the support from IndiDAO, an ecosystem support DAO founded by key members of Polygon, Wazir X and other leading projects in the Indian crypto industry. Thali’s synths offer exposure to multiple asset classes and exotic data feeds within DeFi as well as exciting gamification mechanisms with NFTs, leaderboards and more.

The role

The mission for the Shadowy Super Coders is to lead the protocol’s development, from back-end, to smart contracts to the front-end. You’ll have the help of our community, our tech advisors and the entire Thali DAO core contributors. You’ll take ownership of an exciting project and see to it’s launch and development. We’re hiring for multiple roles within the team to cover the spectrum of development needs.

About you

• A passion for DeFi and decentralization. A willingness to participate in the DAO’s community activities and governance processes.
• Capacity to perform autonomously and bringing a “we” mentality to the team and the overall tech strategy for the DAO.
• Thorough understanding of synthetic assets, token design mechanisms and efficiency in smart contracts for high-throughput trading dApps.
• Passion to bring unique UX to life, with understanding of gamification techniques and best practices within GameFi.
• Security and future-proof oriented thinking when it comes to tech development and code.

Basic Requirements

• Overall proven experience in the tech industry deploying solutions on either frontend or backend with special preference for experience in financial and derivatives platforms.
• Experience with Solidity smart contracts, having deployed code on ETH mainnet or a sidechain.
• Experience with Web3 frameworks for front-end development (Web3.js, ether.js…).
• Thorough understanding of Web3 solutions for decentralized front-end and overall storage architecture (Arweave, IPFS).
• Be present in our community (bug reports, questions from Discord etc.)
• Bonus: Experience or interest in developing governance systems for DAOs.
• Work on integration of LP tokens of leading DeFi projects as collateral.
• Documentation, documentation, documentation.

Compensation Details

• We’re looking for full-time roles to join as core team members of the DAO. You can be remote anywhere in the world, we’d prefer an overlap with EU or IST time zones.
• Compensation is a package of USDC and the DAO’s native token as incentives. The desired range is from $50K to $100K USDC as base compensation, depending on experience and actual role.
• We value skin in the game and alignment with the project’s mission, as such, the incentives in the native token represent a long-term opportunity for all stakeholders including the core team members.
