Sturdy is a DeFi lending platform purpose-built for Ethereum 2.0. We take advantage of Ethereum’s new Proof-of-Stake mechanics to offer self-repaying loans to borrowers and higher yields to depositors. Sturdy is backed by top investors including Y Combinator and SoftBank.

About the role:

• Sturdy is looking for its first Web3 Front End Engineer to help build out the client-facing side of our platform
• You’ll lead development of the web application
• You’ll work closely with smart contract engineers to ensure proper integration

About you:

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining a project using React stack: React, Javascript, CSS
• Experience with Web3 libraries like web3.js
• Excited about great design and user experience
• Understanding of blockchain technology, Solidity smart contracts, and DeFi.
• Experience with responsive design, front-end test automation
• Has a portfolio of previous projects and design work
