Cosmos Developer (Contractor) - Web3 Data Infrastructure

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cosmos developer to join our team on a contract basis, with a focus on building robust, scalable data infrastructure within the Web3 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain technologies, specifically expertise in the Cosmos ecosystem, and a proven track record of developing and deploying data-centric applications and services. This role involves designing and implementing data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and security, and optimizing data access and scalability to support our Web3 project’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data infrastructure using Cosmos SDK and other relevant blockchain technologies.
• Develop and integrate smart contracts and blockchain data querying tools for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Work closely with the project team to understand data requirements and implement solutions that align with the project’s goals and technical specifications.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and scalability of the data infrastructure, employing best practices in blockchain technology and data management.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure seamless integration of blockchain-based data systems with user-facing applications.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology, particularly within the Cosmos ecosystem, to continuously improve and innovate our data infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, including documentation and training on the developed data infrastructure and its components.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a blockchain developer, with strong expertise in the Cosmos ecosystem, including Cosmos SDK and Tendermint.
• Experience in building and maintaining data infrastructure, databases, and data-centric applications, preferably in the Web3 space.
• Solid understanding of blockchain principles, smart contracts, and decentralized application (dApp) development.
• Proficient in programming languages relevant to blockchain development, such as Go, Rust, or Solidity.
• Familiarity with data storage solutions, data security practices, and data scalability techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
