DevOps Engineer

Slingshot is a decentralized trading platform that aggregates liquidity across multiple DeFi markets for thousands of cryptoassets. Slingshot is built on decentralized rails that empower our users with unrestricted access to financial markets and full control over their funds.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of Slingshot, you will be joining a team of DeFi trailblazers to help build the future of finance. Your role will be to lead the management of our cutting-edge infrastructure and collaborate with others in identifying creative methods for optimizing and scaling the Slingshot platform.

As Slingshot’s DevOps Engineer, you will be in charge of the implementation, management, and optimization of our infrastructure, including blockchain node clusters, CI/CD pipeline, and cloud-based microservices.

Slingshot is a fully remote team and always will be. This is a full-time position which includes a competitive salary, equity, and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and uptime of Slingshot services, including node infrastructure
• Assist in performance tuning and fault finding across Slingshot’s production stack
• Collaborate with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
• Maintaining staging environment for QA and CI purposes

Required Experience

• 2 years experience in a DevOps or SRE role
• Experience with CircleCI, Semaphore, or Jenkins pipelines
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as GCP, AWS, and/or Azure
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm

Nice to Have…

• Experience managing and orchestrating production-scale blockchain node clients, such as Geth, Turbo Geth, and Open Ethereum (Parity)
• Experience with Terraform or Spinnaker
• DeFi experience
