You’ll be joining a growing team that currently includes 50+ people overall. This role is based in Berlin (🇩🇪). Most of our team is based in Berlin, Germany, but we also have awesome teammates in Switzerland 🇨🇭, Spain 🇪🇸, Portugal 🇵🇹, UK 🇬🇧, and other countries.
💻 About the role:
As a Senior Developer Support Engineer, you will ensure that the builders are successful and have a smooth experience using Safe{Core}. You will streamline support across many different channels (Discord, Telegram, Stack Exchange, etc) and build processes around feedback and prioritization of different DX initiatives. You will enable and unblock the projects and hackers building on top of Safe{Core} and help Safe onboard the next wave of users into web3.
This is a cross-functional role that will have a big impact on how we scale and streamline support for our ecosystem. We are building the best-in-class DX team here, there’s a lot to learn from everyone, and we care a lot about our team’s personal and professional growth.
🗃️ What you will be doing:
- Own the support processes and KPIs in the Safe{Core} team
- Help elevate the DX of the Safe{Core} ecosystem by sharing insights with the team
- Gain insights into overall pain point ’trends’. These may relate to documentation / content, hackathon guides, workshops, etc
- Support builders across a range of channels in their use of Safe{Core}
- Provide technical guidance on integrating Safe{Core} into other infrastructures
- Streamline the current support process to create cleaner and more efficient project engagements
- Enable our community of developers building projects using Safe: these projects might be unicorns someday!
🎒 What you will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience as an engineer or a support engineer
- Experience understanding/writing smart contracts with Solidity
- Familiar with account abstraction and related ERCs and EIPs
- Experience building dapps
- Passionate about Safe and the broader web3 space
- Tech stack: Solidity, hardhat, web3.js, ethers.js, TypeScript (React, Node), Git, GitHub
➕ Nice to have:
- Participation in web3 or OSS communities
- Experience contributing to OSS projects
- Links to Stack Exchange, GitHub, or forum profile (bonus for examples of answering questions or helping developers in a community!)
- Any written articles or published video tutorials
