The Role

Our smart contract team is developing novel DeFi primitives to serve as foundational financial infrastructure. We’re looking for an engineer to join our Solidity team.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our CTO and Lead Solidity Engineer to design the specification, high level architecture, and future roadmap for the Rift Protocol.
• Implement core protocol functionality in solidity.
• Write thorough test coverage of all smart contract functionality.
• Create deployment scripts and integrations for cross-chain deployments of the protocol.
• Constantly research the frontier of smart contracts, and think critically about how the Rift Protocol may be able to integrate the latest innovations across the crypto ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience interacting with the EVM and writing high-quality, well-tested Solidity code.
• Familiarity with the codebases of blue chip DeFi protocols, and understanding how to interoperate with them.
• Have deployed a functioning smart contract on ETH mainnet.
• Experience working with hardhat, dapptools, foundry, or brownie.
• Familiarity with common (and uncommon) smart contract exploits, and completion of Ethernauts or other CTFs.
• Driven and curious about the future of DeFi and smart contract engineering
• Years of experience do not matter as long as you have built complex projects from scratch, have a burning desire to learn more, constantly improve yourself and enjoy solving difficult problems on a daily basis.
