Protocol Research Specialist

As a Protocol Research Specialist at Raiku, you will be at the forefront of protocol research and development, bridging the gap between technical innovation and market implementation. You’ll be crucial in monitoring and influencing protocol developments while translating complex technical capabilities into compelling use cases for our target markets. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, market understanding, and communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

Protocol Research & Development

• Monitor and analyse Solana protocol changes (SIMDs) and their impact on Raiku’s infrastructure
• Drive Raiku’s protocol development by drafting and advocating for strategic SIMDs
• Host technical workshops with the team on relevant SIMDs and architectural changes to the network.

Product & Commercial

• Create technical use cases and system diagrams showcasing Raiku’s infrastructure capabilities.
• Support commercial discussions with partners and clients
• Transform technical capabilities into clear value propositions for target sectors
• Bridge the gap between technical capabilities and commercial opportunities

Technical Communication & Writing

• Produce technically accurate content for marketing and educational purposes.
• Represent Raiku in technical discussions across public forums
• Collaborate with the team on technical documentation and presentations
• Contribute to the company’s thought leadership in the Solana ecosystem

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Proven track record of writing in-depth technical articles mainly focused on blockchain protocol architecture and improvement proposals
• Ability to effectively bridge business requirements with technical specifications
• Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, particularly Solana’s architecture and ecosystem
• Experience with protocol development and improvement proposals
• Outstanding technical writing and documentation skills
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused use cases
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Track record of working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in client-facing roles
• Familiarity with Solana’s governance and improvement proposal process
• Experience in product development or technical sales
• Active participation in blockchain technical communities
