About you:

• Ability to balance hands-on and managerial responsibilities
• Work with leadership to plan and coordinate feature/product releases
• Manage a team of engineers, hold standups, sprint planning meetings etc
• Have a proven track record of architecting and building high performance, scalable applications.
• Help craft solutions and build features to empower cryptocurrency investors and traders
• Write clean, efficient and testable code and contribute to best practices and internal standards
• Security-minded from the start, and security patterns and pitfalls are always at the front of your mind
• Communicate clearly and effectively with others, orally and in writing
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience with cryptocurrency trading a plus

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of software engineering experience
• Relational database-driven RESTful API and Websocket application architecture experience
• Experience building and running scalable and reliable microservice-based applications
• Current front-end trends, best practices, and web standards
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript
• JavaScript on the server (Node.js, Express, etc.)
• Frameworks such as React/Redux/Sagas
• Knowledge of CSS and familiarity with front-end CSS frameworks (Material-UI, Bootstrap, Foundation etc.)
• Automated unit and integration tests to support continuous delivery
• Knowledge or experience with Docker
• CI/CD approach, build tools
• Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP etc)
