Smart Contract Engineer

What is Q?

Q.xyz is a blockchain development company that builds integrations between decentralized finance platforms. Spun out of BarnBridge, Q Labs aims to create intuitive, dynamic interfaces for users to easily access multiple DeFi protocols & track their positions.

Role

• Writing production-level code in Solidity and Typescript.
• Collaborate with third party Smart Contract Auditors.
• Work with Product Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders to determine and implement additional functionality to our Smart Contracts.

Desired Skills

• Solidity, Consensus Algorithms, understanding of gas, blockchain limitations, hardhat/truffle, reentrancy, delegate call, differences between call and send, vulnerabilities with tx.origin, overflow and underflow issues.
• Strong experience in managing the full life cycle of smart contracts including design, testing, review, deployment and onchain interaction.
• 2+ years of experience working with a go-ethereum project or fork of it.
• You have prior experience in deploying complex smart contract systems to a public blockchain. (e.g. Ethereum)
• You are knowledgable of the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
• Understanding of next generation blockchains and Layer 2 solutions.
• Golang or NodeJS. (Javascript/typescript)

Nice to Have

Experience working with:

• Cross chain/rollup protocol deployment.
• React
• SQL or suitable alternative.
