Full Stack Engineer (Web3 Focus)

We are looking for a self-motivated, intellectually-curious, markets-obsessed individual to join the Polymarket team as a fullstack software engineer. This role will involve working alongside our existing development team to build out new features for Polymarket and maintain the current product. We iterate rapidly and have built one of the fastest-growing consumer DeFi applications that leverages Layer 2 scaling solutions. Given we’re still a small team, expect to work on all technical aspects of the product!

Requirements

• Typescript
• Solidity
• React and Nextjs
• Redis
• Ethereum libraries (web3js, ethers)
• Familiarity indexing on-chain data using theGraph
• Knowledgeable about Layer-2 technologies (particularly Polygon)
• Understand ERC20 and ERC1155 token standards
• Deep understanding of Uniswap, Compound, DeFi in general: both having worked with the smart contracts and understanding the core protocol concepts
• (Plus) Understand decentralized oracles
• (Plus) Have used Polymarket and understand how it works
• (Plus) Understands the difference between AMMs and Order Books
