Data Science Engineer (Python)

Plan_B Media is a well established, profit driven startup with experience in marketing, media, advertising, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. As our Data Science Engineer, you will be working on ingesting, aggregating, and analyzing transaction data from various blockchains.

In this role, you will work closely with a group of talented Marketers, UX Designers, and Engineers to build the next generation of blockchain data products.

Description:

Your focus will be on creating a Crypto Market Business Intelligence system and working with our team to build out bots for multiple processes. Additionally, you will be part of a data analytics team that is tasked w/ analyzing Defi protocols and crypto investment strategies.

Qualifications:

• You love crypto and DeFi, know the difference between hodling, staking, and yield farming, and you have used both Ethereum and other chains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage
• 3+ years of experience with Python
• 3+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, NoSQL, C++, Java, R

What you Will Do:

• You will aggregate and ingest data from various blockchains
• Build Data ETL pipelines using Python.
• Building a data pipeline from different data sources using different data types like API, CSV, JSON, etc
• Create scalable systems to solve different problems using modern cloud technology and industry best practices
• Design database schema that is performant, scalable, and maintainable
