Senior Solidity Engineer

Who are we:

NFTfi is the marketplace for NFT collateralized loans. Borrowers list their NFT assets as collateral for a loan and lenders offer loans against them. We are a fully remote team mostly based in Europe and South Africa.

We believe that NFT’s are a core part of the decentralised future we as a crypto community are building together. Cryptocurrencies represent the units in which we value things, NFTs represent the things we value. The combination of internet native currency and digital property rights (NFTs) signals the birth of a true virtual economy.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Solidity Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting NFTfi’s smart contracts on Ethereum. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing requirements, designing Solidity smart contracts, and ensuring the security, gas efficiency and modularity of the NFTfi smart contracts.

Responsibilities

• Work with the CEO and Engineering team to achieve product update milestones within the set time frames
• Design, develop, program, test, debug and maintain smart contracts code for a decentralized application
• Apply the latest cryptography techniques to protect digital transaction data against cyberattacks and information hacks
• Evaluate scalability, security, performance and gas optimization of the decentralized application
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on API design
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and Designers on planning and implementing exceptional user experiences
• Collaborate with Flow/Cadence engineers to implement our cross chain strategy
• Brainstorm evolving blockchain technologies and evaluate new applications
• To create functional code and translate their functionalities to the product manager

Skills:

• 3+ years of Experience as a developer or technical architect in Blockchain projects
• Excellent Communication and presentation skills
• Experience working with Solidity, Truffle, OpenZepplin, Hardat and web3 among other tools.
• Ability to write secure code that works quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Open to learning and experimenting with new technology
• Highly innovative to fulfill the research requirements of the company and get accustomed to the needs of the research team as well.
• Familiarity with NFTs
