Role Summary

The Trading Systems Engineer will focus on developing core trading algorithms, strategies, and the quantitative components of our platform. You will design and implement sophisticated delta-neutral strategies, build market-making engines, and create the intelligence that drives our trading decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize order execution logic, including smart order routing and execution algorithms
• Create backtesting frameworks and strategy simulation environments
• Implement real-time risk management and position monitoring systems
• Collaborate with smart contract engineers to integrate trading strategies within DeFi ecosystems
• Build analytics tools for strategy performance evaluation and optimization

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience at a reputable crypto trading firm, hedge fund, DeFi protocol, or digital asset exchange
• Expert-level proficiency in Python programming, with demonstrable experience in quantitative libraries (NumPy, pandas, scipy, scikit-learn)
• Hands-on experience with market-making engines or quantitative trading platforms, including order book dynamics, liquidity provisioning, and strategy implementation
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including experience designing, backtesting, and optimizing trading strategies
• Experience with exchange connectivity (REST/WebSocket APIs, FIX protocol)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related quantitative discipline

Preferred:

• Proficiency in Rust for performance-critical components
