Technical Writer

We are looking for a crypto-anarchist developer, specialized in documentation, who understands and thrives for the value of privacy and wants to contribute to an open-source, community project. Always looking for improvements, thinking out of the box, providing valuable support to the project, and adapting to the ever-evolving needs that cutting-edge technology brings.

With self-driven proactivity, and in a very interactive and supportive environment, you will fully own and steer the documentation of the project, providing structure and completeness of the documentation of the project in close alignment with the developers.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate, engaging, user-friendly technical documentation to guide users on any process, anticipating documentation needs also during the development phase
• Test all the documented processes to ensure accurateness
• Be able to extract valuable documentation information from the source code
• Maintain knowledge base with new functionalities and updates
• Build and maintain FAQ for easy reference of common questions
• Provide technical support to the community, streamlining potential new bugs to the team
• Support, mentor, and guide other team members

Requirements

• Strong English writing skills
• Probable documentation experience
• Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-starter with the ability to produce results with minimal supervision, and manage its own workload autonomously
• Owning the topic completely, always looking for how to improve or complete the documentation

Bonus points

• Experience in blockchain documentation, additional points if it is on bitcoin core
• True passion for cryptocurrencies as a disrupting technology and for the importance of privacy-preserving tools
