The team

We are a closely aligned, highly motivated, agile team that holds each other to high standards. The core team currently numbers 4 - we love what we do, and are looking forward to contributing to the future of DeFi as we scale up.

If you join us on site in Berlin, you would be working directly with the core development team in an open and collaborative environment. We are supported by globally distributed team members and an active advisory board.

The role

We are looking for a talented developer with knowledge and expertise across the Ethereum “stack” - primarily Solidity & Javascript/Ethers/Web3js, with knowledge across the Ethereum ecosystem (scalability, governance, DeFi etc.). You will help us take mStable to the next level by designing and developing protocol improvements, integrating with leading CeFi and DeFi platforms, contributing to decentralized governance and executing on our packed roadmap of features and fixes.

What you’ll do

• Architect, develop, test and deploy protocol improvements and optimisations on mStable as we move forward on our roadmap
• Help design and deliver - Contribute to dApp development on future mStable app’s (e.g. governance dashboard, mStable stats, re-collateralisation)
• Integrate the mStable protocol across leading CeFi and DeFi platforms (e.g. exchanges, wallets, aggregators, etc), while helping make mStable as interoperable as possible by designing clean interfaces and libraries
• Develop high-quality code that is maintainable, performant and accessible

What you’ll need

• Provable experience delivering high quality, functional code running on Ethereum
• Strong experience in OOP languages and modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React/Redux/ContextAPI)
• Experience interacting with the Ethereum blockchain and working with Ethers/Web3js
• Competency in HTML/CSS and an ability to implement designs
• Degree in Comp Sci, Engineering or Mathematics

Nice to have

• Experience working with GraphQL and TheGraph
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and ETH 2.0, zero-knowledge proofs, meta-transactions and other important Ethereum concepts
• Experience working in the DeFi ecosystem
• Experience contributing to or managing open source projects
