Developer Relations Engineer

We are seeking an Developer Relations Engineer with an interest in NFTs and Web 3 to join Monax Labs. You will work with our Chief Product Officer and Platform team at the intersection of client and developer relationships.

Monax Labs is a web3 infrastructure studio whose mission is to ensure the benefits of digital property ownership accrue to the rightful owner: you.

We are building Aspen, an NFT publishing and transactional platform, designed around the premise that all IP will be exchanged using NFT containers and rails.

Aspen’s capabilities are focused on retail and enterprise use cases. Providing amongst other features, critically important legal functionalities, which can be accessed via branded interfaces or API. Our mission is to make NFTs safe, secure and legal.

Requirements

• You’ll be responsible for the entire day to day management and execution of our Alpha program
• Lead and coordinate onboarding and training sessions for Alpha users
• Conduct interviews with our Alpha users to collate and extract feedback
• Understand clients’ problems and interface with the technical team to solve the clients’ problems
• Present user experience feedback to the product, engineering and wider business teams
• Nurture relationships with developers interested in using our API products
• Write our API documentation and online implementation guides
• Keep documentation up to date and proactively find opportunities to enhance and improve them
• Participate in client onboarding calls and sales calls
• Be keenly aware of client pain points and feedback, that the Product and Engineering teams need to know
• Work closely with our Product, Platform, and Customer team to build a features and bug backlog
• Report to our Chief Product Officer and be aligned on overall product vision and direction
• Be the first point of contact for developers requests and questions
• Identify strategic partnership opportunities
• Help our Customer team, clients and partners on our social media and Discord channels to address help requests
• Create and deliver technical articles, tutorials, workshops and YouTube content

So, in summary, who do we need? Someone who:

• Has 3+ years of experience in a similar Developer Relations position OR you are an experienced Software Developer looking to transition in to Developer Relations and a client facing role
• High familiarity with rest APIs. Can answer clients’ questions while they are using the API
• Good understanding of smart contracts. Particularly NFT smart contracts
• Can create collateral documents to explain how API works both for technical and non-technical people
• Ability to generate and present technical ideas in a clean and friendly way
• Can manage developer clients and help them guide through the minting and distribution process
• An ability to distil complex concepts into easy to understand explanations
• Can work independently, self direct and manage their day to day workload and deliverables
• Is comfortable with uncertainty and working with a high level of autonomy
• Has exceptional written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail
• Deep interest in Web3 and NFT communities

Nice to have:

• Proven experience in a blockchain or cryptocurrency firm
• Deep experience working with NFTs, and an established presence in the space
• Experience with Rust or Solidity
• Experience with a venture-funded, high-growth technology/fintech startup

US based candidates should have the right to work in the US, sponsorship is unavailable. European remote available for the right candidate.

We are a remote team and although we hire globally, there is a preference for this role to be located in the US East Coast or Europe.
