About Us

MetaDAO is changing the world through market-based decision making. It’s like Polymarket, but for making organization-wide decisions.

We are the first to implement futarchy, a governance model where policy decisions are made by markets. We’ve onboarded nine organizations that have used our platform to make 60+ decisions. One of the most recent markets got 1,062 traders!

Here, you’ll work alongside a small, intense group of engineers and market enthusiasts who are focused on bringing futarchy into practice.

The Role

As the founding engineer, you would manage all aspects of our backend and smart contract stack. You would also be instrumental in designing and implementing new systems and protocols relevant to MetaDAO’s product offering.

We’re Looking For:

• Excellent at solving engineering problems with simple and maintainable code
• Strong verbal and written communication ability
• Obsessed with delighting the customer
• Worked across the stack including on frontends, middleware, and databases

Extra Points For:

• Worked with SVM-based or EVM-based smart contracts in the past
• Understands the basics of how markets operate (e.g., order books, AMMs, derivatives, et cetera)
