Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst that has a passion for high quality software applications and user experience. As a QA Analyst at Maple, you will be assisting with release testing, bug hunting and Business Functionality Testing. As well as designing, implementing and improving end-2-end automation processes.

You will have a significant impact on bringing exciting new features to the Maple marketplace and its Users. Your critical assessments will shape these new features and maintain the standard of software excellence our first class engineering team strives for.

The Opportunity

This is the first QA role we have hired. Being a start up in growth mode, we all wear a lot of hats and the elements of this function have been covered by the engineering team collectively so far. We are at a stage, where, to operate at the level of excellence Maple strives for, a dedicated QA is paramount. Whomever joins us to perform this role has great scope to define and shape the way this function is executed.

You will report in to one of our two world class Engineering Leads (previously at MakerDAO and Horangi, respectively), work closely with and have the support of, Maple’s Senior Product Manager (previously at Google and Ripple), Senior DevOps Engineer (previously JP Morgan) and of course the rest of the Maple team, who boast a similar pedigree of backgrounds and experience. You will have the enviable opportunity to work with, learn from and mentor the best and the brightest people in the most exciting FinTech space there is today - DeFi!

Responsibilities

• End to end test automation
• Managing Bug Bounty and Security Audit programs
• UI/UX product based testing (i.e. using an app)
• Security and Vulnerability auditing
• Load and performance testing
• Creating and managing testing strategies

Requirements

• 5 years of professional development experience
• Expert level TypeScript language fluency
• 3+ year’s experience as a QA in a FinTech environment

Really Nice if you have it

• Web3 and Ethereum Knowledge
• Successful experience in a high performing start up environment
