Job Summary

We are looking for a junior to mid-level Developer whose initial tasks involve converting vanilla Javascript within Svelte to Typescript, creating and maintaining a testing suite for our frontend codebase, and assisting with the setup and maintenance of our cloud hosting services.

Solana is an emerging chain whose development infrastructure is not yet as mature as Ethereum’s. Troubleshooting and debugging can become time consuming and frustrating. We’re looking for a candidate who can pioneer innovative solutions to new, yet-resolved frontend problems in blockchain technology.

Tech requirements

• Javascript/Typescript knowledge
• Testing experience (Jest, Mocha, or something similar)
• Experience managing cloud hosting (AWS, Google Cloud, or something similar)
• Experience with github/version control

Bonus Points

• Prior experience using Solana-web3.js, or any other web3 library
• DeFi / blockchain experience
• Knowledge of UI/web design (Figma, Adobe Illustrator, etc)

Other considerations

• Comfortable working in an emerging development ecosystem
• Open to any timezone, with ability to work around EST-centric operations
• Willingness to opine and offer ad hoc support to the community in Discord & Telegram, time permitting
