Our mission at Ingenuity is to build innovative, decentralized financial software systems that enhance the Interchain ecosystem and enable collaboration across the blockchain industry.

We are a fully-remote crypto startup, building and maintaining Quicksilver, a sovereign Cosmos app-chain that provides Interchain liquid staking for IBC-enabled blockchains. We are fueling decentralized finance on Cosmos by maximizing liquidity and improving user experience without sacrificing on network security and decentralization.

Role and responsibilities:

Quicksilver is one of the leading Liquid Staking solutions in Cosmos, and to build on our momentum, we are looking for a Full-stack Engineer to build, maintain and become the product owner of the user-facing piece of our project:

• Work alongside our Product and Engineering teams on an innovative liquid staking protocol.
• Iterate on product improvements and new features with other members of the Product and Engineering teams
• Architect and build endpoints within our server/API layer to provide data to our front end applications – optimizing for performance, scalability, and code quality
• Write unit, integration and e2e tests to ensure maximum code quality
• Investigate, debug and resolve user reported issues
• Contribute to architectural improvements and be an active participant in establishing a culture of engineering excellence at the company * actively participate in code review, pairing, creation and update of documentation, etc.

The qualifications we seek:

• A solid experience as a Full Stack engineer
  • Demonstrable expertise in creating engaging web applications with exceptional user experience, using the relevant technologies (Typescript, GraphQL, React, Next.js).
  • Experience interacting with APIs, specifically using Protobuf / GPRC, and integrating third-party libraries and extensions.
• Outstanding communication skills - ability to provoke and lead meaningful discussions and convert outputs into actions
• Proactivity and decisiveness - taking initiatives and finding the best path forward without waiting for detailed directions
• Openness to providing and receiving constructive feedback, and a strong desire for personal and professional growth and self-improvement
• Ability to work well in a team and desire to be an active participant in shaping the company’s culture
• Ability to adapt to the fast moving environment of the blockchain ecosystem.
• Experience of a startup-like environment and/or prior blockchain experience is an added plus.
• Prior knowledge of the Cosmos ecosystem, Keplr wallet and/or Ledger hardware wallets is a strong plus.
